Job Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION Provides internal and external customer service
through timely research and preparation of requested payroll tax
returns and ensure the accuracy of our customers federal, state and
local filings. Responsible for the accuracy integrity, and
timeliness of all product related processes. Ensure the data
integrity of our clients quarterly and annual payroll tax filings
including federal, state and local filings Reconcile tax-related
transactions between our payroll and tax systems Be the payroll
taxation expert for a set of states with regard to compliance and
filling issues Resolve escalated and complex payroll tax issues
Participates in product related projects or training sessions, as
required, alternatives to alleviate future issues. Partners with
the Compliance, Support and Technology teams Partner with
departments such as Customer Care and Sales to keep them abreast of
payroll tax trends and issues Keep current with local and national
payroll tax law and changes Work on daily reporting of errors from
various reports P301, Benchmark, PFUT to create a smooth quarter
end processing for our customers High School diploma and a minimum
of 3 years of experience. Consideration may be given to a candidate
with a degree in lieu of experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Word
and Excel, organizational skills, ability to work with numbers
accurately, strong communication skills (both verbal and written),
the ability to work as part of a team and work independently
