Job Description:
Wintrust seeks a seasoned Senior Commercial Real Estate Banker
to expand our commercial real estate loan portfolio by leveraging
industry knowledge and community engagement. With a personalized
approach to banking service, the successful candidate will work
under our Banking, Insurance & Investment category to foster
meaningful relationships with real estate developers, investors,
and business owners to provide customized financial solutions. This
role is pivotal in supporting Wintrust's commitment to
strengthening community ties through responsible and innovative
financial services. Develop and maintain relationships with
commercial real estate clients to understand their financial needs
and propose tailored solutions. Analyze and underwrite commercial
real estate loans, perform risk assessments, and make credit
recommendations. Collaborate with internal teams to design and
implement financial strategies that align with client goals and
company standards. Negotiate loan structures, terms, and rates
effectively while complying with regulatory standards. Lead due
diligence processes and coordinate with legal and financial
consultants to ensure accuracy and compliance. Monitor market
trends to identify business opportunities and potential risks in
the commercial real estate market. Provide expert financial advice
and consultation specific to commercial real estate investments.
Strong financial analysis and risk assessment capabilities.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in
commercial real estate underwriting software and MS Office.
In-depth knowledge of real estate markets, financing, and economic
trends. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM)
preferred. Relevant state licensing for real estate or banking if
applicable.
