Job Description Job Description VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE AND
ACCOUNTING Are you a hands-on real estate accounting professional

awarding winning leading real estate development and investment
firm, is seeking an experienced real estate Vice President of
Finance and Accounting to join their team! Highlights Be seen and

professionals. How You'll Contribute Manage the accounting
department and oversee the accounting operations of all entities.
Issue timely and complete financial statements. Monitor quarterly
and annual lender compliance requirements. submit reports
accordingly. Review agreements, closing statements, and coordinate
final wire transactions. Oversee investor capital accounts and
basis schedules, coordinate with investor relations for timely
distribution of financial reports to investors, Calculate waterfall
schedules for significant transactions and coordinate distributions
with investors in accordance with the terms of the LLC Agreements.
Coordinate annual budget preparation, including final sign-off of
new billing estimates, Prepare budget to actual analyses monthly.
Provide financial analyses, in particular for capital investments,
pricing decisions, and contract negotiations. Provide strategic tax
planning over significant transactions in coordination with
external tax preparers and legal advisors, review and oversight of
the monthly real estate tax calendar. Oversee management of new
buildings, accounts, etc. in the general ledger system. Ensure
compliance with joint venture reporting requirements. Manage bank
accounts, ensure monthly bank accounts are reconciled monthly.
Monitor Cash on weekly basis. For development properties placed
into service, coordinate cost segregation study with external
accounting firms to facilitate placing a property into service
under IRS rules. Review of Draw Budgets and reconciliation to
Capital structure of the entity for development projects at the
start of the project as well as participation in monthly reviews
and monthly payment of development fees to the management company.
Review Fixed Asset Schedule as part of monthly close procedures,
review depreciation in accordance with income tax basis of
accounting. Review LLC Agreements to ensure appropriate compliance
with allocation of net income/loss provisions as well as IRS Tax
basis reporting. Oversight of human resources including setting up
new hires in BambooHR system, reviewing and processing onboarding
documentation, and setting up company benefits. Oversight of Yardi
software including the setting up of new users, assigning
permissions to users, approving new vendors, troubleshooting issues
before reaching out to the Yardi tech team, and preparing monthly
construction accruals for the development of projects. Who You Are
Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, Masters or MBA preferred.
CPA certification required. 10 plus years of accounting work
experience with at least 5 years of experience in a senior role
with duties including budget, FP&A, revenue generation, cost
reduction. Experience with commercial real estate development or
similar preferred. Proficiency in Sage and Yardi Kube strongly

numerous factors including internal equity, market data, the
candidate's qualifications- including but not limited to specialty

certifications (e.g., CPA, JD). The salary range estimate below is
inclusive of all departments within the company and offered
salaries may vary within the given range between departments. A
reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this level is
$150,000 annualized plus additional compensation and other
competitive benefits.
