Job Description Job Description Part-Time Property Caretaker Oakbrook Corporation is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Property Caretaker to help maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of Wildberry Village Apartments in Rockford. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in keeping spaces clean and welcoming. This is a unique position offering onsite housing for the selected candidate in exchange for 15 hours of work per week. Hours worked beyond 15 hours each week will be paid at a rate of $16.00 per hour. What You'll Do Perform cleaning, janitorial, and light maintenance duties in common areas and apartments Keep property and grounds clean, orderly, and safe Handle snow and ice removal, lawn care, trash pickup and removal Perform landscaping tasks Care for amenities such as ponds, sidewalks, and lighting Assist with minor maintenance repairs as needed Assist in identifying safety hazards and report needed repairs Inspect properties for safety and aesthetics Comply with Fair Housing guidelines Demonstrate and uphold Oakbrook Values Other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in varying conditions Reliable and self-motivated Previous experience in property care or maintenance is a plus Perks Onsite housing Part-time schedule (15 hours per week) ABOUT OAKBROOK CORPORATION We have been proudly serving the Midwest since 1987.
