families benefiting from our trauma-informed programs, we are

What a day in the life of a Teacher’s Aide looks like: - Assisting
teachers in creating a fun, engaging learning environment that
works for everyone, using the right materials and teaching methods
to support students’ learning and well-being. - Provide academic
support in ways that get students excited to learn and are tailored
to meet the needs of each student, especially those with
personalized education plans, special needs, or who need extra
support. - Be there for the youth, their families, fellow staff,
and other support teams. This includes open communication, positive
role modeling, showing youth how to regulate emotions, build
healthy relationships, and teaching life skills. - Protecting our
youth by honoring our privacy practices What you bring to the
table: - At least a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent - At
least 21 years old - Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with a good
driving record per the agency’s automobile policy - At least one
year of experience working with students who are historically
disadvantaged or have emotional or behavioral challenges (EBD) -
Know your way around a computer and MS Office - Possess patience
with a positive, confident approach, understanding & trauma-focused
care, especially when things get rough - Celebrate different
cultures, backgrounds, and abilities - Ability to be physically
engaged and lift at least 30 lbs as we interact with young, active
youth. In rare cases, you might need to intervene physically to
keep everyone safe. What we bring to the table: - $18 to $20 an
