Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A professional opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary-aged students in a contract position located in Elgin, TX. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services within an elementary school setting for the 2024-2026 school years. Qualifications and Experience: Active Texas SLP or SLPA license required Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is mandatory Experience with pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology preferred Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 75 elementary students Comfortable working onsite three days per week with schedule flexibility and occasional virtual work dependent on compliance with testing and service deadlines Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in elementary students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with educational goals Conduct required testing using district-supplied computers and materials Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records and comply with testing and service requirements Adapt sessions to meet both bilingual students needs and school curriculum standards Position Details: Start Date: ASAP End Date: May 27, 2026 Hours/Week: 37.5 Days/Week: 5 (onsite attendance required 3 days per week with varied scheduling) Age Group: Elementary school students Benefits and Perks: Weekly pay schedule for timely compensation Comprehensive insurance package including medical, dental, vision, and life coverage Matching 401(k) retirement plan Flexible spending account options Support through ProCare Benefits, enhancing healthcare and wellness access This position provides an excellent platform for a dedicated SLP or SLPA who is committed to making a positive impact on children's speech and language development in a bilingual educational environment.
