are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Controls
Technician to join our innovative team in the Manufacturing
industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing,
developing, installing, managing, and maintaining equipment used in
the manufacturing process. This role is integral to ensuring the
smooth operation of our production lines and contributing to our
company's efficiency and profitability. This position requires a
high level of technical aptitude and an insatiable desire to learn
and grow. Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain PLC
(Programmable Logic Controller) systems to control our
manufacturing processes. 2. Utilize software like VFD, SCADA, RS
Logix, Panelview, and HMI for programming and automation tasks. 3.
Design and implement control systems to enhance efficiency and
safety. 4. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems and
apparatus, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational
efficiency. 5. Collaborate with the engineering team to understand
project requirements and implement control systems accordingly. 6.
Develop and maintain documentation, such as system diagrams, SOPs,
and operational manuals. 7. Provide training and technical support
to other team members and departments as required. 8. Stay abreast
of emerging technologies in control systems and PLC programming and
recommend improvements where necessary. 9. Comply with all safety
regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications: 1. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering,
Computer Science, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of
experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry. 3.
Proven experience with PLC programming and control systems design.
4. Proficiency in using VFD, SCADA, RS Logix, Panelview, and HMI.
5. Excellent understanding of automation and control systems. 6.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. 7.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 8. Ability
to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. 9.
Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and stay updated with
emerging technologies. 10. Ability to work in a fast-paced,
