Great benefits 401k Plenty of overtime available Well-ventilated facility Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent TIG Welder to join our team. This position is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment in the manufacturing industry, where your skills and expertise in fabrication will be put to the test. As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds in accordance with specified standards and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, possessing a deep understanding of welding techniques, equipment, and safety protocols. Responsibilities: 1. Reading and interpreting blueprints and sketches to understand job specifications. 2. Using TIG welding techniques to assemble and fabricate metal parts. 3. Inspecting and testing welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws. 4. Setting up, operating, and maintaining welding equipment. 5. Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. 6. Assessing equipment, structures, materials, and job specifications for appropriate welding positions and methods. 7. Monitoring the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of materials. 8. Ensuring compliance with established health and safety protocols. 9. Maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety. 10. Working in collaboration with the team to meet production targets and deadlines. Qualifications: 1. High School Diploma or equivalent. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a TIG Welder in the manufacturing industry. 3. Proven experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.) 4. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. 5. Professional Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) will be a plus. 6. Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.) 7. Deftness and attention to detail. 8. Proficient in English. 9. Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is required. 10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. 11.
