Do you have a passion for maintaining high sanitation standards in a manufacturing environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a Permanent Sanitation Manager for the 3rd shift in our fast-paced Manufacturing industry. This position requires a proactive and dedicated individual who is ready to take on the challenge of maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all sanitation processes and procedures to ensure our facility meets and exceeds all regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: As a Sanitation Manager, you will: 1. Design, implement, and manage the Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) to ensure that all areas of the plant are clean and meet the required sanitation standards. 2. Monitor and verify the effectiveness of the sanitation process through regular inspections, audits, and swabbing. 3. Oversee the Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) system and ensure its effectiveness and efficiency. 4. Ensure compliance with the British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles. 5. Train and supervise sanitation staff in the proper cleaning procedures and use of cleaning chemicals. 6. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to address any sanitation issues and implement corrective actions. 7. Maintain documentation related to sanitation activities and prepare reports for management review. 8. Ensure that sanitation procedures are followed in the handling and storage of frozen products. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must have: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry. 2. A thorough understanding and practical experience with SSOP's, BRC, CIP, GMP, and HACCP. 3. A proven track record of managing sanitation procedures in a manufacturing environment. 4. Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment. 5. Excellent communication and leadership skills. 6. The ability to work independently and make decisions based on sound judgment. 7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement effective solutions. 8. The ability to work on the 3rd shift (nights) 9. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
