Competitive Compensation: Up to $95/hour (DOE) depending on technical leveling 401(k) with Generous Match: 4% company match Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, EAP Generous PTO & Paid Leave: PTO, parental leave Professional Growth: Tuition reimbursement, professional development assistance Hands-On Technical Environment: High-complexity, low-volume, high-value work Relocation Assistance Available Stable Full-Time Role: 40 hours per week, onsite machining environment Job Details Key Responsibilities and Duties Perform hands-on CNC programming, setup, and prove-out of complex machined components Program using CAM software (Fusion 360 preferred) and support post development Select tooling, feeds, speeds, probing methods, and workholding strategies Support first-article success on tight-tolerance, high-value aerospace components Troubleshoot machining issues including chatter, distortion, thermal growth, and alignment Support prototype, R&D, and low-volume production machining Partner with Engineering and Quality during early part development Develop setup sheets, tool lists, and standardized process documentation Support configuration control and revision management Drive continuous process improvements to reduce scrap, rework, and cycle time Operate safely in a forging and heavy-machining shop environment Qualifications – Needed Engineering degree preferred; equivalent hands-on experience strongly considered Minimum 8 years of hands-on CNC machining and programming experience Proven experience machining large, complex components (30” diameter) on Vertical Turning Lathes Strong CAD/CAM background; Fusion 360 experience preferred Experience machining aerospace alloys (Inconel, Monel, Titanium, Aluminum, Copper) Solid blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency Strong fixture design and workholding experience Proven ability to independently program, set up, prove out, and troubleshoot parts Comfortable working full-time on the shop floor in a forging environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate cranes and forklifts Interested in hearing more?
