Job Description Job Description Aegis is partnered with a growing precision metals manufacturer is adding a Quality Control Inspector to support production floor inspection and testing. This is a hands-on floor role, not a desk job that is ideal for someone who enjoys measuring, verifying tolerances, and working closely with operators to catch issues early. This is a newly created role with strong mentorship and the chance to help build out the quality function. What You’ll Do Inspect in-process and finished parts on the production floor Verify dimensions and tolerances Use micrometers, calipers, and precision gauges Read prints and tolerance specs Perform product and packaging inspections Document inspection results Support non-conforming material review Help with tool calibration Ideal Candidate 1–2 years quality inspection experience (manufacturing) Comfortable with measuring tools Blueprint and tolerance reading ability Strong math skills (imperial metric) Detail-oriented and reliable Comfortable being on the floor most of the day Nice to Have Tubing or metals experience Lab or test inspection exposure Quality training or coursework Entry-level grads with strong fundamentals welcome Why This Role Brand new position — growth opportunity Strong supervisor training support Stable first shift schedule Expanding company with quality investment Direct impact on production quality You should be proficient in: GD&T Quality Inspection Experience Advanced Inspection & Gauge Measurement Blueprint Reading Machines & technologies you'll use: Measurement Gauges Calipers and Micrometers
