Wespath, recognized as a 2017-2022 Chicago's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For - and a 2018-2022 National Best and Brightest Companies to Work For -, has an opportunity for a Director - Business Analysis and Agile Transformation that responsible for leading the Business Analysis function as well as providing leadership for an enterprise transformation to agile delivery.This position serves as the leading authority on preparing, defining, educating, implementing, and maintaining an organization agile delivery model. More specifically, as the Director - Business Analysis and Agile Transformation you will have the opportunity to:

  • Directly supervise members of the Business Analysis (BA) team. Establish and maintain expectations and create growth and development opportunities for direct reports.
  • Lead the BA team in terms of adoption of progressive analysis and elicitation techniques and tool usage.
  • Allocate BA team resources and monitor deliverables to meet client needs.
  • Coordinate with other teams to identify and implement new systems to support business function at an effective cost basis.
  • Help establish governance structures that align strategy formulation with enterprise execution.
  • Ensure that teams and programs are well managed through the creation of controls that optimize delivery, minimize risk, and maximize throughput.
  • Lead the agile transformation across technology from adoption to maturity.
  • Facilitate cross-team, cross-department initiatives and manage complex dependencies.
  • Ensure continuous improvement by establishing quick feedback cycles and leveraging data-driven metrics to identify areas of improvement.
  • Deliver hands-on training and coaching of defined agile practices to individual teams and programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement to enable higher performing programs/organizations and/or teams with improved business and customer outcomes.
  • Coach Agile Product Managers, Product Owners, Agile Team Facilitators / Scrum Masters, Team Members (Analysts, Developers, Testers) and Leaders.
  • Define and implement scaled agile framework and practices when necessary. Advance adoption through partnering and influencing change.
  • Collaborate with individual teams/programs and organizations to discover their needs; plan and deliver instruction and coaching while ensuring alignment with their organizational strategy.
  • C oach / coordinate team or cross-team planning events such as rolling wave planning, Increment planning, or other similar ceremonies / events. Director - Business Analysis and Agile Transformation Benefits:

      • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent; MBA preferred.
      • 8 + years of combined Agile or project management experience.
      • A bility to influence change across both team and leadership levels through relationship building and collaboration.
      • D emonstrate Agile mindset and working knowledge of Agile techniques including Scrum, Kanban, User Story Writing, eXtreme Programming, and a scaling framework such as SAFe or LeSS, scaled Agile methods and hybrid models.
      • E xperience with training development and delivery.
      • S trong collaboration, facilitation, and conflict management skills.
