Job Description MBI Staffing is seeking a skilled Sr. Security Analyst with expertise in vulnerability management to join our clients team. The primary focus of this role is to use Rapid7 InsightVM to identify and guide remediation efforts in the organizations IT systems. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of vulnerability management, risk assessment, and incident response.

What this job involves:

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and identify vulnerabilities in our IT systems using Rapid7 InsightVM
  
• Scan external websites for vulnerabilities using insight AppSec
  
• Analyze vulnerability data and provide recommendations to IT teams for remediation
  
• Work closely with IT teams to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities
  
• Develop and maintain vulnerability management policies, procedures, and standards
  
• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating identified risks
  
• Develop and maintain vulnerability metrics and reports to provide to management
  
• Keep up-to-date with the latest vulnerability management techniques and technologies
  
• Create and manage remediation project within Rapid 7 insight VM
  
• Audit vulnerability projects for timely completion
  
• Report weekly vulnerability status
  Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in vulnerability management, information security, or related field
    
  • Strong experience with Rapid7 InsightVM and InsightAppSec or other vulnerability management tools
    
  • Experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and risk management
    
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or related certifications are preferred
