Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Wespath Benefits and Investments, recognized as a 2017-2022 Chicago's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For and a 2022 National Best and Brightest Companies to Work For, is hiring for a Sr. Benefit Plans Specialist - Health and Well-Being Benefits due to a recent promotion. The Benefit Plans department is responsible for the strategic management of Wespath's benefit plan offerings. The Sr. Benefit Plans Specialist - Health and Well-Being Benefits provides administration expertise to the day-to-day management of our health and well-being plans and programs. This includes work on:

Plan and program enhancements
Plan and program related communications
Vendor management and issue resolution
Preparing metrics and plan related processes and procedures; and
Preparation of operating and health plan budgets. The Sr. Specialist will spend approximately 80% of their time working with health plans and 20% of their time with well-being programs. Benefits for the Sr. Benefit Plans Specialist - Health and Well-Being Benefits:

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
3 years of plan administration support, annual election/open enrollment processing, or training/marketing in a health, well-being, benefits or insurance environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills (VLookUp proficiency) and PowerPoint skills (proficiency with inserting tables into slides). Preferred Requirements/Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of wellness programs/initiatives and impact on plan design and financials.
Motivated, focused, and self-managing-able to work on short-term and long-term initiatives with moderate day-to-day management and oversight.
Familiarity with budgeting and financial reporting.
