Nurse Specialist, Digestive Health - Gastroenterology, Medical GroupPosition Highlights:

* Position: Nurse Specialist, Gastroenterology - Medical Group
* Location: Evanston Hospital
* Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Days
* Hours: Hours will be scheduled based on the need of the practice. Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)
* Required Travel: N/A

What you will need:

* License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of Illinois required
* Education: BSN required
* Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
* Experience: 3 years of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required

What you will do:

* Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
* Implement and monitor patient care plans.
* Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
* Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
* Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
