Position Highlights: Position: Physician Assistant, General/Cardiac/Vascular Surgery - Inpatient Location: Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview, IL Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 40 hours per week Hours: Nights --- 3 consecutive 12 hours shifts (6p-6a) with a rotation to cover one Saturday a month and one of the 6 major holidays a year Hourly Pay Range: $55.38 - $83.07. As a valued member of an integrated team, your placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to FTE, prior experience, certifications, degrees, subspecialties, projected volumes, and quality performance. What you will need: License: Current Physician Assistant License in the State of Illinois required. DEA & Illinois Controlled Substance License required. Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Certification: CPR certification required Experience: One year of Physician Assistant experience preferred Skills: Surgical experience preferred What you will do : Provide comprehensive health care services for a diverse patient population in close collaboration with a team of surgeons and APPs. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in the following surgical specialties: general surgery, urology, vascular surgery and orthopedic surgery Provide surgical care for patients in various settings --- emergency room, operating room, post-op, and non-op inpatient First assist in emergent operations in the above specialties, but most often general surgery.
