Edenbrook Lakeside promotes and encourages the success of each of its employees and values the individual experience of its guests and their families.Position: PRN Occupational TherapistEdenbrook Lakeside a skilled nursing facility in the Eden Senior Care Network, is now hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitation services in one or more of our service locations!Primary Job Responsibilities:To provide quality Occupational therapy services and initiates referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures, and productivity standards.To evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation and conduct specialized evaluations as indicated.To supervise and direct Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in the implementation of the treatment plan.Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL)Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its useGuide and educate family members and caregiversObserve, note, and report on progress of long and short term treatment goalsSkillsProven working experience as occupational therapistExcellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapyFamiliarity with ADLs evaluation tools ( e.g. Katz ADL scale, Lawton IADL scale)Valid license to practice occupational therapyBS degree or greater in occupational therapyReasons to join Edenbrook:Great team environmentSupportive leadership staffCompetitive Wages#INDTHERAPY#INDTHERAPYby Jobble
