Job Description Job Description Position Overview: Pediatric
Pulmonology Physician in an Academic Setting We are seeking a
Pediatric Pulmonology Physician to deliver specialized care for
children facing intricate respiratory issues, both in inpatient and
outpatient environments. This academic position includes
responsibilities such as mentoring medical students and residents,
contributing to the advancement of clinical practices, and engaging
in research initiatives. The role enhances patient access
throughout the Chicagoland area and plays a vital part in a highly
regarded pediatric pulmonary program within a prestigious academic
health institution. The Department of Pediatrics, Division of
Pediatric Pulmonology, is looking for a full-time Board
Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Pulmonology Physician to join
our faculty at our downtown Chicago campus. The Pediatric
Pulmonology Division offers comprehensive services for infants,
children, and adolescents with respiratory disorders at both our
main medical center and Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL.
Our section features a bronchoscopy service and a cutting-edge
pediatric pulmonary function laboratory equipped for exercise
challenges, plethysmography, and impulse oscillometry. This dynamic
role presents an opportunity to broaden access to specialized
pulmonary care across the Chicagoland region, addressing complex
conditions such as asthma, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, congenital
lung diseases, neuromuscular disorders, and cystic fibrosis. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care for complex
respiratory conditions in both inpatient and outpatient pediatric
settings. Guide and mentor medical students and residents in the
field of pulmonary medicine. Exhibit a strong dedication to
outstanding patient care, education for students and residents, and
the advancement of pediatric pulmonology. Engage in substantial
research opportunities and collaborate with various service lines.
Eligible for a faculty appointment at Rush Medical College,
commensurate with experience and achievements. An ideal opportunity
for driven physicians eager to make a significant impact in
pediatric pulmonology. Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or
Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) is required. Must be eligible
for medical licensure in the state of Illinois. Completion of an
accredited Pediatric Pulmonology fellowship program is necessary.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology.
Willingness to travel between clinical locations to meet the needs

base salary, benefits, and additional incentive programs. The total
pay range reflects various factors, including experience,
education, and location. This range is applicable for a full-time
employee and may include incentive payments, sign-on bonuses, and
relocation allowances. Opportunities for increased compensation
based on productivity are also available, along with a
comprehensive benefits package. Salary Range: $210,000 - $308,000
