Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled RN Clinical Lead | Specialty to join our faith-based healthcare organization. In this role, you will be pivotal in transforming healthcare by managing specialty nursing areas and ensuring the provision of superior care that aligns with our mission of innovation and compassionate service. As part of a vast network of healthcare facilities, you will have the opportunity to lead teams, influence patient care standards, and contribute to health improvement in the communities we serve. Oversee the daily operations of the specialty nursing staff and coordinate care to ensure compliance with established standards. Develop and implement training programs for nurses in specialty areas to enhance their skills and knowledge. Monitor patient care for quality and adherence to evidence-based practices. Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and evaluation of nursing staff. Facilitate collaboration among healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Lead quality improvement initiatives and implement new policies and procedures as required. Manage the department's budget and resources efficiently. Strong leadership and organizational skills. In-depth knowledge of specialty area healthcare practices and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on team building. Expertise in data analysis and performance/quality metrics. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Certification in clinical specialty area (e.g., Oncology Certified Nurse - OCN, Certified Pediatric Nurse - CPN) preferred.
