Interventional Radiology Location: Hazel Crest, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,318 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Clinical Services Specialty: Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 2 years IR experience License: Active state license Certifications: Active BLS (AHA) and ARRT (CT) Must-Have: - Candidate must have 2 years of IR experience. - Candidate must have an active state license. - Candidate must have active BLS (AHA) and ARRT (CT). Description: IR Procedures include thoracentesis, paracentesis, embolization, IVC filter placement, SVC repair, and line placement. Candidate will assist with CT biopsies, fistulas, needle aspirations, shock wave lithotripsy, and some vascular cases. Candidate must be able to function well in a team. Strong communication skills, especially with physicians, are required. Candidate must be knowledgeable in aseptic technique and aware of radiation safety. Candidate must be able to anticipate physicians' needs. Highly prefer candidates with RCIS and CBT certifications, but they are not required.
