Facility Information Facility: GSS ND Park River Location: Park River, ND Address: 301 Co Rd 12B, Park River, ND 58270, USA Shift: 12 Hours - Day Shifts Job Schedule: Full-time Weekly Hours: 36.00 Salary Range: $32.50 - $48.00 Job Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering personalized nursing care to residents by employing the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position involves collaboration with residents, their families, and interdisciplinary team members, including healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care planning and execution. The RN is expected to demonstrate proficiency in nursing practices, adhering to age and population-specific standards relevant to their clinical environment. Responsibilities encompass all aspects of preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Key duties include: Coordinating resident care and conducting assessments. Providing education to residents and implementing various nursing interventions. Possibly serving as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to both licensed and unlicensed personnel based on their competencies and the needs of residents. Ensuring safe and effective care delivery while addressing any concerns related to care and services. The RN must operate within the guidelines set forth by the Nurse Practice Act and relevant administrative rules in their state of practice. The role is grounded in the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as established by the American Nurses Association. Qualifications Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program is preferred, including institutions recognized by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred. Must possess an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the state where practice occurs, or hold multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
