Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, evenings, nights - Employment Type: Travel Title: RN - Medical Surgical Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin Contract: 13 weeks Schedule: Rotating (PMs/NOCs 3x12 hour shifts, every third weekend) Requirements: 2 years experience as an RN | BLS required | Epic experience required | Travel experience Required -American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent. -American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required. -Trauma Nurse course certification (TNCC) is required. -American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required. The Staff RN-Inpatient job description has incorporated essential functions which are adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010). Required Skills & Experience: -Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment. -Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse. Preferred Skills & Experience: -N/A Required Education: -Associate’s degree in nursing. Preferred Education: -Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
