A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available in Elgin, IL, serving students in elementary and middle school settings. This role involves working onsite at two separate school locations, dedicating 37.5 hours per week during the school day. The position offers an excellent opportunity to provide specialized therapy to a diverse group of students within general education, resource classrooms, and some self-contained special education settings. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to childrens developmental needs in school environments. Support students in various educational settings, including general education and special education classrooms. Utilize sensory integration techniques and document progress with measurable goals. Collaborate with educators and school staff to enhance student participation and success. Manage caseload across two campuses, spending one day at each site without in-school travel. Qualifications and Experience: Active Illinois state license as an Occupational Therapist is required. Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred. Background in sensory integration or working directly with school-aged children is highly desirable. Strong skills in goal setting and progress monitoring aligned with educational therapeutic practices.
