How you’ll make an impact in this role Assist with procedures to analyze, diagnose and treat the cardiovascular system. Monitor the patient's physiological status in real-time during complex cardiovascular procedures, ensuring immediate communication of changes to the care team to safeguard patient well-being. Execute specialized testing, including hemodynamic calculations and cardiac output measurements, to provide critical, accurate data essential for physician diagnosis and successful treatment planning. Uphold and enforce rigorous sterile technique and infection control protocols for all equipment, room setup, and cleanup, maintaining a safe and high-quality environment for every procedure. Collaborate closely with the physician and team to anticipate procedural needs and adapt quickly, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and optimized experience for both staff and patient. Educate patients and their support networks on post-procedure care, monitoring, and expected activity levels to empower them and facilitate a smooth recovery. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Preferred Credential(s): Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
