About the Position LocumJobsNetwork is working with Wellhart, LLC
to find a qualified Neurology PA in Rockford, Illinois, 61108! Our
client in Illinois is seeking a dedicated Neurology Physician
Assistant for a 60-day assignment, commencing May 4, 2026. This
role involves 7 AM to 7 PM shifts, where you will focus on
inpatient rounding, performing patient assessments, assisting with
care coordination, and collaborating closely with neurosurgeons and
the clinical team to deliver high-quality neurological services.
Responsibilities and Duties Round on neurosurgery inpatients
Perform patient assessments and documentation Assist with care
coordination and discharge planning Provide support in clinic as
needed Collaborate closely with neurosurgeons and clinical team
Perform new patient consults Manage stroke alerts and respond to
acute ED and transfer evaluations Handle pre- and post-operative
management of endovascular cases Perform intermittent clinic
in-basket management Collaborate with attending neurologists,
hospital staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal
