Cath Lab Tech Location: New Lenox, IL Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $2,800 to $3,000 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $70.00 - $75.00/Hourly. Summary: A Cath Lab Technologist is a specialized healthcare professional who assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. They operate advanced imaging equipment, prepare patients, and ensure procedural accuracy and patient safety during cardiac interventions. Responsibilities: Acting as the first point of contact for referrals and patients. Attending patient consultations. Performing initial examinations and patient assessments. Making recommendations to the referring physician, the patient, and patient’s family under the guidance of the interventional radiologist. Performing daily rounds and communicating patient progress to the medical staff and the radiologist. Requirements Requirements: 2 years Cath Lab experience Required. Experience with heart caths, PCI, IABP insertions, STEMI call, IVUS/IFR and interventional radiology cases Required. COVID and Flu vaccination required.
