Position Overview

This individual will be a key member of the Envoy Solutions payroll team supporting a few of their business units' payrolls. The individual will be responsible for the full cycle administration in a primary and back up capacity. This includes management of employee data, ensuring the accuracy of time and attendance in ADP's Etime system, computing wages, ensuring all employees are paid accurately, and post payroll reporting and reconciliation. The Payroll Specialist will support all payrolls, with a primary focus for employees in Illinois and California.

Responsibilities Include:

* Full cycle payroll administration for our North Woods company in Wisconsin with back up full cycle administration for our Envoy and North American payrolls.
* Support all payrolls (Envoy, NA, WAXIE) with:
* Manage electronic timekeeping system from ADP which is Etime
* Help and support HR regarding accrual issues and discrepancies
* Process payroll data as it comes into the department
* Maintain new hires, terms, changes and updates within the payroll system
* Maintain payroll electronic records and files to ensure all data is entered correctly
* Work closely with HR to ensure correct employee data is being presented and help resolve issues or questions that arise and support the HR team
* Issue manual checks when needed and ship to correct locations
* Run post payroll reports and assist with financial reconciliation
* Pull data for company audits requiring payroll data



The ideal candidate will have:

* College degree in business administration, finance or accounting preferred.
* 2+ years working with a payroll team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ADP's Workforce Now
* Preferred knowledge using ADP's Etime module or Kronos time keeping systems
* Familiarity with multi-state payroll processing (California preferred)
* Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
* Good time management and organization skills
* Working Knowledge of legal regulations
* Ability to prioritize and multitask
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
