• The Principal Java Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain advanced software applications for our Satellite Ground Systems.
• This role involves close collaboration with systems engineers, hardware designers, and other software engineers to deliver reliable and high-performance software solutions.
• Responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and test Java-based applications and software components for satellite ground systems using JUnit for unit testing.
• Work with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and Python.
• Modify existing code as necessary.
• Main functions of this role include:
  • Software design, coding in Java, unit testing, and integration in an Agile/Scrum/DevOps environment using CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
  • Success will be measured by work performed within cost and schedule.
  • Work environment:
    • Agile team environment with individual contributions.Additional Information:Onsite in Aurora, Colorado.
