This contract role as a UAT Tester in Chicago, IL is responsible for developing test scenarios and cases, as well as executing test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Pay Rate: $33.36 - $36.36 per hour Responsibilities: • Developing test scenarios & cases. • Execute test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Participation and/or facilitation in Test scenario & results reviews. • Communicate with the UAT lead throughout the testing life cycle ensuring escalation of any perceived or legitimate issues to test lead and/or business contact as soon as appropriate. • Interact with Developers, System Analysts and Business Analysts to support defect analysis, reproduction and documentation. • Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to such specifications. Job Requirements: ? • Familiarity with testing Business Rules to create positive and negative test cases • Experience working on an Agile methodology project. • Ability to build standard or automated regression test suites. • Strong analytical, good communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform well as part of a team.
