Administrator will provide hardware and software technical support.
Responsibilities will include interfacing with the customer to
track, record, and document help desk requests and issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : The essential duties and
responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this
job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be
performed. Manages the day-to-day operations of the host computers
by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and
repair. Ensures that records of system downtime and equipment
inventory are properly maintained. Applies revisions to host system
firmware and software. Works with vendors to assist support
activities. Escalate support requests as necessary following
established procedures. Monitor Helpdesk and telephone requests for
Service Level Agreement (SLA) violations and escalates as required.
Maintain technical logs and documentation according to departmental
procedures. Review project plans, coordinate project activity, and
implement MIS initiatives. Review and execute organizational goals,
policies, and procedures for the specific strategic recommendations
related to the MIS Department. Administer/troubleshoot servers,
storage, laptop and desktop computers, printers, routers, switches,
firewalls, phones, company mobile phones, software deployment,
security updates and patches Responsible for Server maintenance,
patches and upgrades, Active Directory maintenance and security
administration, Data Backup Systems and Disaster Recovery and
Microsoft Enterprise applications. Provide after-hours coverage and
support as needed Knowledge of VMWare Virtual environments.
Analyzes specific security requirements for supported systems.
Creates documents and maintains a step by step procedure manual on
each layer of the system for each type of system specific security;
includes new systems as they are added to the network. Assures that
system integrity and security are maintained for all business
services. Manage Tsubaki Cyber Security program which includes
CrowdStrike, Rapid 7 SEIM solution, Delinea Secret server, and MFA
Other tasks/functions as assigned. Requirements: Minimum of six (6)
years' work experience as a Systems Administrator. Bachelor's
Degree in an IT or related field Advanced PC/laptop software
knowledge and skills, including installation, configuration,
troubleshooting and fighting viruses/malware. Demonstrated
analytical ability to solve problems. Broad base of technical
skills to clearly diagnose and solve problems relating to hardware
and software issues. Proficient knowledge of VMware Enterprise
features Proficient knowledge of Microsoft software including
Windows Server, Office 365, SQL, MS RDS, SCCM, AD Knowledge of
Rapid 7 SEIM Knowledge of CrowdStrike MDR Knowledge of Delinea
Secret server Proficient knowledge of networking and
enterprise-wide printing. Linux system administration experience a
plus Compliance Monitoring tool exposure Varonis DatAdvantage
