Responsibilities:

--- Oversee personal injury case files from beginning to end
--- Modify, review, and draft demand letters, pleadings, claims, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
--- Settle on the clients' behalf when appropriate and negotiate reasonable agreements
--- Delegate tasks and manage a team of litigation paralegals, legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, and legal secretary
--- Appear as legal counsel on the clients' behalf at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation
--- Assess potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly
--- Record and update the status of all case files in the case management system


Qualifications:
--- Illinois licensed lawyer with 2+ years of personal injury experience,
--- Experience attending court, hearings, and arguing motions,
--- Experience taking and defending depositions of parties, witnesses, police officers, and medical providers,
--- Experience handling mediations and settlement conferences,
--- Excellent drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills.
--- Trial experience is a plus, but not necessary.
