Job Description BENEFITS Veolia's comprehensive benefits package

Purpose: This position is responsible for effectively implementing
and managing systems and processes for all Veolia controlled
inventory, including maintaining accurate inventory levels at all
assigned locations. Trains and mentors staff to receive, inspect,
store, issue, and document materials as required. Must possess
excellent organizational, problem solving, and communication
skills. Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Must maintain a clean and
safe working environment in all assigned warehouse locations
Practices outstanding housekeeping habits for all warehouses and
maintain associated equipment Ensures accuracy of shipments and
inventory transactions Ensures accurate inventory by conducting
monthly physical counts and reconciling variances Generates daily
reorder reports, monitors inventory levels, and adjusts inventory
min/max accordingly Works closely with accounting, purchasing and
client on inventory and purchase order concerns Publishes material
receiving reports and monthly reports for Accounts Payable
Maintains accurate records for receiving reports and packing slips
per the Record Retention Policy Fully responsibility for managing
and completing a warehouse inventory audit at least annually
Updates and maintains all inventory master and data files Reviews
and approves new part numbers for stock and Customer Spare Parts
(CSP) Must be knowledgeable with VAMS Asset Management system and
utilize it to its full capability Identifies inventory problem
areas and promptly communicates them up and through the
organization Manages all obsolete items, including materials,
uniforms, electrical gloves, and recyclables Addresses damaged
goods and / or short orders Communicates with various departments
to ensure adequate materials and supplies are on hand Promotes
appropriate and professional relationships with client, internal
customers and vendors Prepares items for shipment to customers,
other sites, repair facilities, or for return to vendors Interfaces
with third party freight services as needed Forwards documents to
the appropriate area or person for materials that have SDS's or
certifications Participates in the Reliability Centered Maintenance
program Anticipates and provides support and warehouse coverage as
needed Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by
selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching,
and counseling employees Participates in Veolia's student
internship program and manages student projects as appropriate
Communicates job expectations, including planning, monitoring,
appraising job contributions, recommending compensation actions,
and adhering to policies and procedures Monitors attendance,
payroll, prepares employee performance evaluations and administers
disciplinary actions where applicable Work Environment: Work is
performed primarily in an office environment with regular exposure
to warehouse and occasional exposure to plant environment. The
employee will occasionally be required to work in outdoor weather
conditions. The noise level for this environment is moderate.
Qualifications Education/Experience/Background: Associated Degree
from a two-year college in Materials Management, Logistics, or
related business field is required. Bachelor Degree with a major in
a similar or related field is preferred. A combination of education
and on-the job skills knowledge in the right environment may be
considered as an alternative from the education noted above. A
minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following
areas is required: warehouse, procurement, and/or maintenance. A
minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience working in a warehouse
with material handling and inventory control highly preferred.
Experience and proficiency in computer-based purchasing and
inventory required. Experience working in an industrial
manufacturing / processing environment is preferred. 3 to 5 years
of management/supervisory experience highly desirable.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of supply management and
warehouse inventory principles is required. Familiarity with Asset
Management software or experience with MRP applications is
preferred. Proficient in Google Office Suite (Mail, Docs, Sheets,
and Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and
PowerPoint). Ability to perform basic and accurate mathematical
functions. Must be thorough, methodical, and analytical in nature.
Communicates effectively and has exceptional written and verbal
communication skills. Can learn new technical skills quickly. Must
have the ability to develop, establish and maintain strong and
effective working relationships with suppliers, clients, and
internal team members. Shall work exceptionally well with other
Veolia team members to achieve common goals. Dependable, punctual,
keeps promises, and is someone that can be relied upon.
Communicates effectively via written and oral methods with
co-workers, supervisors, managers, and others. Possess excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills. Must but collaborative in
nature. Understands when to be supportive but knows when to take
the lead. Acts with a sense of urgency. Able to work independently
and but also collaboratively with a team. Exceptional attention to
detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management
skills. Supervisory experience in a warehouse setting. Willingness
to assume additional or new responsibilities readily. Ability for
effectively present information and respond to questions from
groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Physical
Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee
will occasionally be required to stand, walk, use hands to finger,
handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and to lift up to
twenty-five pounds; and will frequently be required to sit, and
