Job Description Job Description We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team. The position involves primarily local driving, with minimal out-of-state driving. Reports to: Plant Manager Requirements: · Commercial Driver’s License, Class A (current) · Pass a Health Examination as required for a CDL every 2 years · Must provide current Health Certification upon hire · Clean driving record – no accidents in the past 5 years Skills: · Ability to maintain proper records and reports · Ability to work on numerous tasks simultaneously · Ability to determine what is priority from what is not · Ability to do minor repairs on the truck and related equipment · Strapping and tarping of product(s) · Clean truck weekly · Punctual and reliable · Honest and trustworthy · Good communication skills · Ability to lift 75 lbs. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: · Delivery of materials and equipment · Customer point of contact for pickups and deliveries of material and equipment · Determining whether orders are complete and correct at the point of pickup · Submission of all receipts and purchase orders related to the job · Return of materials and equipment as necessary · Ensure compliance with OSHA and MDOT · Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment · Maintain quality expectations and limit liability due to damaged equipment, property and materials · Maintain equipment inspection sheets and files · Maintain equipment logs · Attend any necessary training sessions (safety, etc.) · Comply with company safety rules and procedures Qualifications: · 3-5 years over the road driving experience as a Commercial Truck Driver with capacity of over 3 tons (required) · High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Schedule: · Monday through Friday · 6 am – 2:30 pm Job Type: Full-time Company Description Flexco makes products tough for lifestyles that demand it.
