Job Description:
Industrial Electrician – Heavy Industry We’re seeking a skilled
and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our team in a dynamic
manufacturing environment. In this essential role, you’ll ensure
the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems that power
critical production equipment. From troubleshooting overhead cranes
to programming PLCs, your expertise will directly contribute to
minimizing downtime and maximizing plant productivity. If you're a
hands-on electrician who thrives in heavy industrial settings and
values teamwork and problem-solving, we want to hear from you. Key
Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems
and equipment supporting steel manufacturing operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize unplanned
downtime. Work with AC/DC overhead cranes, motors, drives, sensors,
hydraulic system controls, and large machine tool electrical
systems (e.g., lathes). Perform tasks such as bending conduit,
pulling wire, and working with voltages up to 480V . Program and
edit Allen Bradley PLCs as needed to optimize system performance.
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and plant
regulations. Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to
support plant efficiency.
