Job Description Job Description TIG Welder Location: Mishawaka, Indiana Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) Pay: $23.00 per hour Job Summary Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a TIG Welder to join our team in South Bend, Indiana. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping produce high-quality welded metal components while maintaining precision, safety, and production standards. What You'll Be Doing As a TIG Welder, your core responsibilities will include: Precision TIG Welding: Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and/or mild steel components to meet detailed specifications. Blueprint & Setup Execution: Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols, set up welding equipment, and select proper materials and settings for each job. Quality Inspection & Finishing: Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards, and grind, polish, and finish parts as required. In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe work environment, follow all safety and quality procedures, and assist with additional fabrication tasks as needed. What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have the following: Qualifications: Previous TIG welding experience required Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols Strong understanding of welding techniques and metal properties Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Skills: TIG Welding Proficiency: Ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds on various metals. Blueprint Reading: Ability to accurately interpret drawings and welding symbols to ensure correct fabrication. Precision & Safety Focus: Strong attention to detail and knowledge of welding safety standards to maintain consistent weld quality. Why Join Us?
