Company Description

Alpine is seeking a Product Owner to manage the company's business management system. In this role, the PO works closely with customers and internal stakeholders to understand customer operations and how they translate into software needs. These needs are conveyed to the development team in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria to enable Alpine to deliver business management solutions required by its customers. The PO develops and maintains a vision for Alpine's software and communicates that vision to end users and developers. The PO keeps all stakeholders updated and aligned on project objectives, priorities, and status. The PO is responsible for prioritizing the backlog and ensures that all stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the development lifecycle. The PO understands both the technical and business side of product releases and is ultimately responsible for representing the end user's needs.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

+ Collaboration across stakeholder groups to translate business requirements into themes, epics, and user stories for the development teams to implement

+ Develop and maintain a product roadmap and appropriately prioritized product backlog

+ Collaborate with technical leads to determine scope and priorities for product development cycles

+ Work with development teams to ensure they understand the vision for the product and are inspired to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency

+ Develop appropriately detailed specifications for product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams

+ Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally, and as the primary technical contact for queries related to the product

+ Work with key stakeholders across the company to ensure successful product releases

Job Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a comparable discipline; an MBA is a plus

+ Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is preferred

+ Software Product strategy and management experience with demonstrated value delivery

+ Data oriented mindset-comfortable using data to convey information and make decisions

+ Experience with complex customer environments and/or relevant industry experience

+ Experience leading software product development in an Agile environment leveraging frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe

+ Strong team/project management, communication, and presentation skills

+ Self-motivated, energetic and can work both autonomously and as part of the team

+ Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment

+ 20% travel
