Under the direction of the Digital Media Production Manager, the
Multimedia Specialist will support the conception, creation, and
delivery of compelling video, audio, and visual elements and
complete projects that raise the profile of CHEST and the CHEST
Foundation. They will assist in conceptualizing of video, audio and
graphic approaches to be used for digital communications, including
but not limited to websites, digital communications, e-learning,
and a range of social media platforms.

Collaborate in the creation of multimedia content, including
podcasts, webinars, demonstration videos, advocacy videos,
interviews, and various types of promotional media.
Participate in all stages of multimedia production - from
conceptualization to final delivery/distribution - with an emphasis
on post-production processes, including, editing, color grading,
compositing, and encoding/compression, among others.
Serve as point person on quick-turn video requests, providing
streaming links, thumbnails, captions/subtitles, and light-touch
Write and edit scripts for video and audio productions individually
and as a member of a team.
Create various assets optimized for social media platforms.
Work with web and editorial teams to produce visual content
including infographics, videos, charts, icons, headers, banners,
Provide production support on video shoots, audio recording
sessions, and event-based live streams.
Oversee the preservation, maintenance, uploading, and archiving of
all media assets
Assist in the management/maintenance of all audio and video
equipment inside and outside the studio.
Bachelors degree in communications, video production, media design,
or related field.
2+ years' experience preferred in video production, digital design,
and producing content for promotional and informational
Experience with AV production workflows and the creative process in
a variety of contexts.
Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere
Pro, Audition, After Effects (Mac environment), and Photoshop.
Experience with building interactive learning modules and basic
animation is a plus.
Demonstrated ability in translating complex ideas into informative,
An understanding of overarching communication, design, and
story-telling principles (ie, composition, color, contrast,
attention management, cognitive vs emotional messaging, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, listening skills,
and critical/flexible thinking skills are a must.
A general familiarity with HD/4K cameras, lighting, and audio
equipment is required.
Ability to safely move up to 50 lbs. of equipment in the context of
video shoots and other live events as needed.
