WHAT YOU'LL DOThe Senior Compliance Officer, CRA is responsible for managing the Bank's governance and oversight program over the Bank's Community Reinvestment Act Program by developing CRA goals for the organization, implementing and administering CRA monitoring, reporting, and recommendations throughout various regions of the Bank's footprint and committees. This position will collaborate with various lines of business, including Retail, Mortgage, Consumer Small Business, and Community Banking to help guide the development and implementation of activities/programs that support the Bank's CRA goals and initiatives. In addition to supporting the Bank's Fair and Responsible Banking Officer in developing CRA program enhancements, the Senior Compliance Officer, CRA will support the Bank in implementing necessary changes to comply with various proposed regulatory rulemaking, such as the proposed rulemaking to implement the CRA and the proposed rulemaking to implement Dodd Frank Section 1071.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing the Bank's CRA Governance and Oversight Program by developing CRA goals for the organization and implementing monitoring, reporting, and recommendations throughout various regions of the Bank's footprint and committees.
  • Responsible for providing Senior Management with periodic or quarterly monitoring of the Bank's performance towards its CRA goals and initiatives.
  • Collaborating with various lines of business, including Retail, Mortgage, Small Business, and Community Banking to help guide the development and implementation of activities/programs that support the Bank's overall CRA Goals and Initiatives.
  • Supporting and making recommendations to the Bank's Fair and Responsible Banking Officer in developing CRA Governance and Oversight Program enhancements.
  • Supporting the Bank in developing and implementing necessary changes to comply with various proposed regulatory rulemaking, such as the proposed rulemaking to implement the CRA and the proposed rulemaking to implement Dodd Frank Section 1071.
  • Conducting final reviews of work completed by CRA Compliance Analysts to ensure accuracy and identify areas for coaching and training. For example, CRA/HMDA Data Integrity Reviews, Community Development Reviews, etc.
  • Responsible for updating the Bank's CRA Public File on an annual Basis.
  • Updating and maintaining the Bank's annual CRA Self-Assessment and Performance Context.
  • Responsible for submitting the Bank's annual HMDA and CRA LARs.
  • Managing the Bank's preparation for CRA regulatory examinations.
  • Creating necessary presentation documents to various committees and working groups.
  • Providing additional support towards the overall Fair and Responsible Banking Program through responsibilities that may involve the Bank's Fair Lending Program and the Bank's UDAAP Program.WHAT YOU'LL BRINGKnowledge:

      • Solve problems independently while applying logic and discretionEDUCATION & TRAINING
        • Certifications, Licensing, Education, Experience and Other Qualification or BA/BS degree minimum of 5 years of progressive CRA, community development lending, investment and/or service-related activities
        • 7 years CRA-related efforts and initiatives experience or combination of equivalent education/experience
        • Experience as a CRA Officer at a large community bank greater than $2 billion in assets and in multiple assessment areas preferred.
        • Strong analytical, communication (written, verbal, presentation) skills and organization skills
