Job Description:

Wesco is seeking a senior front-end developer for our eCommerce sites who will be responsible for executing, driving, and owning assignments through all stages of the development lifecycle. You will function as the technical expert on a global, multi-brand B2B eCommerce application where the Adobe Franklin Project is the storefront and Adobe Commerce provides the headless commerce services. A successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and understanding of JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, and web markup such as HTML5 as well as proficiency in browser rendering behavior and performance. **Responsibilities** + Develop new features, enhance existing features, and implement bug fixes for web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS + Produce quality code in keeping with best practice methods + Create unit tests + Perform tasks regarding development and configuration + Setup interactions between Adobe Franklin and other systems (such as Mulesoft, Adobe Commerce, and others) via GraphQL and API calls + Troubleshoot issues, identify solutions, and test scenarios needed to confirm new functionality meets business requirements, security, and quality standards + Proactively evaluate work requested and being performed to ensure efforts are aligned with expected project and best practice approach + Collaborate with a team of developers to design end-to-end, industry-leading systems and solutions + Communicate clearly with the team to achieve a full understanding of effort needed + Keep up to date with all industry changes and latest methodology within the commerce industry as it applies to coding practices + Work with Agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices, and pursuing continued-learning opportunities + Participate in solution design & deployment activities + Participate in code reviews **Experience:** + 5 years required, 7 years preferred experience in a development role in an enterprise environment with responsibility for the delivery and support of world class technology solutions. + 5 years required, 7 years preferred experience with coding experience in required language, platform, and/or technology. + 5 years required, 7 years preferred experience developing solutions using modern tools and practices. **Education:** + Bachelor's degree in eCommerce, eBusiness, information technology or related field preferred. **Skills:** + Working knowledge with code management systems. + Working knowledge with intake and task management tools. + Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). + Working knowledge of development frameworks. + Working knowledge with build tools. + Working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies. + Ability to multi-task and reprioritize in a dynamic environment. + Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. + Basic understanding of budgets including processing invoices and other financial documents through accounting processes and practices. _WESCO International, Inc., including its subsidiaries and affiliates ("WESCO"), is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's compensation level within the range will be based on several factors, including but not limited to geographic location, experience, relevant education, qualifications, skills, organizational needs, and performance.
