Come join our family-owned company!Packaging Room (Offal) Team Member1st ShiftWatertown, WIPosition OverviewThe successful candidate will help with setup, pack offal products to target weight, move skids of product in and out of the freezer, and ensure proper safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.Essential Duties / Responsibilities & Competencies Be able to perform and rotate through several job functions in the department at line speed Comply with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), USDA regulations and safety rules at all times Ensure products are accurately weighed, packaged, and labeled (products include ribs, loins, livers, hearts, tongues, etc.) Always verify and record temperatures to ensure superb quality
Package and palletize product in accordance with established specifications Utilize a PIV to move and stage pallets Learn and excel in all positions within the room, to facilitate teamwork and cross-training Utilize SAP for material movements Excellent attendance and performance record Good verbal communication skills Good decision making and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize work in relation to process flow Ability to communicate effectively with the team and work towards an end goal without direct supervision Proactive team player, dependable and detail orientedEducation High School Diploma or equivalent preferredExperience Knife Skills preferred but not required SAP experience preferred, but not required Food Manufacturing experience, a plusPhysical Demands Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up 50 lbs, and hand grip up to 60 lbs on a regular basis Walking and/or Standing throughout the shift Bending and/or Reaching throughout the shift Ability/Willingness to work in cold conditionsOther Requirements External Candidates Only: Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background checkLocation: Watertown, WIStarting Hourly Pay: $23.53Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm (end time will vary depending on production needs)Coach for this position: Garrid Neitzel, Harvest Pack Team Lead
