As a member of companys IT Vendor Management team, the Senior IT Vendor Management Analyst will report directly to the Manager, Enterprise IT Vendor Management.

The Senior IT Vendor Programs Analyst will establish, maintain, and evaluate vendor relationships to drive value and efficiencies for our decentralized company businesses. Aligning priorities with Enterprise stakeholders, the Analyst will develop and support IT programs that are easy to adopt, targeted to mid-market operational needs, and deliver reliable results.

The Senior IT Vendor Management Analyst supports vendor relationships, negotiations, and performance management for defined IT suppliers.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Collaborate with company Segment and Division stakeholders, other Corporate IT team members, Legal, and other functions to identify, develop, and maintain effective IT vendor programs
  
• Educate and interpret IT vendor contracts for respective company business segments and stakeholders
  
• Investigate IT vendor program issues reported by Division or Corporate IT personnel and coordinate steps for resolutions, including management escalation as appropriate
  
• Negotiate IT vendor contract terms, conditions, modifications, and renewals while working with key stakeholders to ensure that their requirements are met
  
• Conduct market analysis, evaluating product against business requirements, crafting the deal from contracts to pricing, preparing data for annual reviews, and driving vendor compliance to agreements (SLAs metrics, performance monitoring)
  
• Utilize IT and contract knowledge to assist in driving efficiencies, value, and cost savings in contract negotiations and vendor management
  
• As needed, develop Statements of Work (SOW) and manage RFI/RFP/RFQs related to vendor programs
  
• Develop/coordinate Enterprise communications relevant to IT vendor programs, including new program announcements or webinars, contract changes or updates, vendor roadmaps, program terminations, etc.
  
• Measure program performance via metrics monitoring, SLA review, vendor scorecards, and market data research for value optimization and/or cost reductions and makes recommendations accordingly.
  
• Understand relevant market trends and vendors. Track, gather, and analyze market and industry data to determine product and service roadmaps
  
• Build and leverages relationships and networks across the organization. Uses indirect influence to persuade others and gain support within the businesses.
  
• Maintain and enhance strong relationships with current and potential strategic partners through formal and informal interactions.
  
• Apply key company principles to drive on-going vendor management program improvement and adoption of preferred IT vendor program in company divisions
  
  
  
  
  Qualifications
  
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelors degree required in Information Technology or a related field is required.
    
  • 5+ years IT Vendor Management and contract negotiation experience is required
    
  • IT operational experience is strongly preferred
    
  • 3+ years of experience with sourcing processes including RFXs (RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs),
    
  • Experience managing business technology requirements, project plans, and project financials
    
  • Business acumen combined with IT knowledge of hardware, software, services, and telecom
    
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to balance and effectively prioritize a large set of diverse vendors simultaneously
    
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate information clearly and concisely at multiple levels
    
  • Keen attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Proficient in analyzing and manipulating data in Excel
