ITW Commercial Construction encompasses the leading brands of Buildex - (Teks -, Sammys -), Red Head (TruBolt -, Tapcon -), Ramset (Trakfast -), and PNA (Diamond Dowel -) with an overall history dating back to 1910.The Senior Accountant provides timely information for the sales, manufacturing and distribution operations to meet corporate requirements and guide effective business decisions that deliver profitable growth. The primary responsibilities include monthly journal entries and account reconciliations, analysis and cross functional communication of actual vs plan/outlook results, product margin reporting and analytics, inventory analysis as well as special projects and ad hoc requests. This position reports to the Accounting Manager.Core Responsibilities:

• Enforce governance with internal accounting controls and compliance with ITW financial policies and procedures
• Complete month end journal entries and account reconciliations along with additional month end reporting to communicate results to various departments
• Work with operations, sales and marketing teams to proactively improve KPIs, including slow moving and obsolete inventory, months on hand, and rebates and commissions performance tracking
• Measure, monitor and oversee inventory and cost trends, including cycle counts and physical inventory, slow and obsolete ownership and PPV analysis
• Assist in preparation of annual operation plan, long range strategic plans, monthly outlooks, quarterly reviews and other special analysis
