USCs and GC holders are preferred.Locals are preferred but not mandatory.Position: ServiceNow ArchitectLocation: Chicago, IL and multiple other locationsDuration: 6-12 MonthsEssential Job FunctionsJoin in the development and implementation of the Enterprise Application Architecture function. This role, working alongside other application architects, will work with senior leaders to develop and architect strategic initiatives that align with the organization's overall objectives with a keen focus on our service management platform - ServiceNow. To be successful in this role, the Enterprise Application Architect Principle should have strong ServiceNow experience, leadership and communication skills, attention to detail, as well as a deep understanding of relevant technology trends, App Engine design patterns, and best practices. Additionally, this role should be able to think strategically and work collaboratively with other departments to achieve the organization's goals.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)

• Partake in the development of ServiceNow application architecture, including the Target State Application Architecture that addresses the Statement of Architecture Work and stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure that ServiceNow architectures are aligned with the organization's overall solution goals and objectives.
• Develop and maintain reference architecture, architecture building blocks (ABB), standards, and guidelines to ensure that the organization's technology is secure and compliant with industry standards.
• Identify areas for capability improvement and implement strategies and roadmaps to address them.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and participate in prioritization initiatives.
• Stay up to date with emerging technology trends and developments and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
• Communicate technology target state, roadmap, and development progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation, Work Experience, SkillsRequired:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience with ServiceNow (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CMDB, APM, SPM, App Engine), preferably in a global capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of architecture governance concepts, application design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience developing and implementing architecture governance, guidelines, procedures, and standards.
  • Experience with one or more platforms such as Salesforce.com (Sales, Marketing Cloud), MuleSoft, Azure, Microsoft M365.
  • Proven change management skills.
  • Excellent communication, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with business and IT cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading a team of architects, technology owners, and technology subject matter experts.Preferred:
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) experience
    • Work experience at a large professional services organizationCertificates, Licensures, Registrations
      • Preferred: TOGAF certification
      • Preferred: ServiceNow Technical or Master Architect certificationTools and Equipment
        • Microsoft Office automation tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), Visio
