About this roleWriter is seeking an experienced developer advocate focused on technical content to join our Developer Relations team at Writer. An accomplished storyteller with a strong technical background, this developer advocate will produce world class technical content to drive awareness of Writer research and technology and adoption of the Writer platform.You will work with product marketing, lifecycle marketing, developer experience, and AI and software engineering to develop high quality technical content across our engineering blog, newsletters, launch assets, and more in a variety of mediums.When applying, please submit examples of your technical content that are relevant to your work experience (e.g. blog post, video, or related material). ????--- Your responsibilities

• Deliver world class technical content across mediums telling the story of Writer's research and technology.
• Develop educational technical content across mediums for the Writer platform (Agent Builder, API, and SDKs) and partner integrations.
• Act as our "internal journalist," working with our AI and engineering teams to develop stories on the interesting work they're doing that we can shout from the rooftops.
• Partner with Product Marketing and Content to develop launch assets (written and video) for research paper publication, model launches, and new technology announcements.
• Partner with inbound and lifecycle marketing to develop gated technical content and own developer newsletter content.
• Assist other developer relations and experience team members with docs, SDKs, and event staffing when needed
• Independently and proactively manage projects in coordination with the team, adhering to deadlines and contributing to our overall developer experience strategy.

  • You are obsessed with technical storytelling and deeply understand the critical importance of balancing education with marketing impact.
  • You understand the nuances of different technical personas working in AI: researchers, developers, and IT.
  • You bring at least two years of experience as a developer advocate, software developer, AI/ML engineer, or related role, with a proven track record of creating impactful technical content across mediums.
  • You have experience with AI and ML, with additional proficiency in python. For example, you'd feel at home attending and presenting at LLM Paper Clubs.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You quickly adapt to new domains and are able to communicate complex ideas and concepts effectively.
  • You are able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • You put the reader and viewer first, ensuring content is accessible and engaging.Preferred skills
    • Formal or otherwise documented education in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or AI engineering is preferred
    • Experience developing technical content for an AI company
    • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
    • Familiarity with building applications that use LLMs
